Founder
and Artistic Director Roald Bradstock has been both an Olympic caliber
athlete and artist for over 30 years. first competing in the 1984
and 1988 Olympics, Bradstock continued his Olympic achievements
with a first place win in the 2000 USOC Sports Arts Competition.
Bradstock was then honored to have his art displayed in the International
Olympic Museum as part of the Cultural Olympiad leading up to the
2000 Sydney Olympics. In 2003, Bradstock was recognized for his
new style of art called Athletic Abstraction when he won
the prestigious International Sports Artist of the Year Award.
This honor is presented by the United States Sports Academy
(USSA) and the American Sport Art Museum and Archives (ASAMA). Bradstock
founded Fitness Artworks to create, reproduce and
distribute these dynamic images to the health, fitness and sporting
industries.
